Spencer Lane Kids to Host Lemonade Stand to Benefit Stony Brook Children's Hospital

The kids will host their second annual lemonade stand on Aug. 26 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at 14 Spencer Lane

The “Spencer Lane Kids” will host their second annual lemonade stand on Tuesday, Aug. 26 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at 14 Spencer Lane to benefit Stony Brook Children’s Hospital.

Last year, Maddie Mastriano, 14, and her brother Joseph, 10, together with other children living on Stony Brook’s Spencer Lane, organized a lemonade stand. They wanted to do something to help other kids and conceived the idea for the lemonade stand, a summer activity that can be enjoyed by many.

In two hours, the kids raised $640 on their own. They hope to surpass that this year.
