The Stony Brook University Women’s lacrosse team beat the University of Massachusetts Lowell, by a score of 22-1 on Saturday.

Freshman Kylie Ohlmiller (West Islip) totaled nine points, Sophomore Courtney Murphy (Shirley) scored six goals,
sophomore Dorrien Van Dyke (Northport) finished with three, and seniors Kelly Kuerner (Lake Grove), Sarah Ehrman (Huntington), and Michelle Rubino (Port Jefferson) scored a goal each.

Junior Maegan Meritz (Farmingdale) and freshman Kylie Ohlmiller(West Islip) were named the America East Defensive Player and Rookie of the Week, respectively.
