Stony Brook Film Festival Grateful to The Meadow Club

Catering for 200 film festival closing night guests assured

July 23, 2018, Stony Brook, NY--Following a fire that damaged The Meadow Club in Port Jefferson Station, leaders of the Stony Brook Film Festival at Staller Center, Stony Brook University, reached out to Indu Kaur, one of the owners of the catering hall to express their concern and support. As a hospitality sponsor for the Stony Brook Film Festival, The Meadow Club had generously agreed to provide all catering needs for the 200 guests at the Film Festival Awards ceremony to be held at Staller Center on Saturday, July 28. “As promised, the Meadow Club will be providing the catering for guests attending the Stony Brook Film Festival Closing Night Awards reception. We are working hard to meet all our commitments in spite of the fire,” said the Meadow Club owner. This will be the second time The Meadow Club generously donated the catering for the Closing Night Awards reception held in Staller Center’s Paul W. Zuccaire Gallery, where filmmakers, filmgoers and guests celebrate as the winners of the Stony Brook Film Festival are announced. The owners of The Meadow Club hope to reopen as soon as possible and are working with clients to meet all commitments.
