CENTEREACH, NEW YORK (MAY 2021)—Artwork by three distinguished Newfield High School student-artists—Dominick Mauri, Leah Walker, and Samantha Tsa—have been selected for display at the Suffolk County Art Leaders (SCALA) Scholarship and High School All-County Virtual Show.

The annual showcase enables high school art teachers to enter exceptional artwork of students in grades 9-12 to the competition. Artwork submitted is juried in the following categories: drawing, painting, 3D, photography, mixed media and digital media. SCALA aims to provide a source of communication, development and support for all leaders responsible for advocating and facilitating quality art education for the students of Suffolk County.
