Three Village Art Teacher Published Nationally

SETAUKET, NY — Christine Sacco, an art teacher at Minnesauke Elementary School, recently penned an article to share best practices with her colleagues nationwide, which was published in the SchoolArts Magazine, according to the Three Village Central School District.

Sacco’s article detailed a project she taught her sixth-grade classes. The project was focused on exploring the negative effects plastic has on the environment, why water resources are important and the efforts that can done collectively and individually to keep the environment thriving and free of plastic. The piece also featured some of the artwork completed by past Minnesauke student-artists.
