All artwork was produced as projects for the Photography, Media Arts, and Advanced Photography classes with Mrs. Kristen Dietz and Mrs. Cortney Weisman. Students were given varying assignments that brought wonderful creativity to their photographs. In one, students were asked to create landscape photography, which was then creatively arranged in paper cutouts to reveal only certain parts of the photograph beneath. Another asked students to create surreal images using Photoshop ™ software, which creates a finished photograph that possesses a particular mysterious quality. Yet another required the students to re-create an Instagram filter using Photoshop™ software. Some of them focused on the elements and principles of art, such as line and repetition.
Emma Clark Library is proud to showcase the creativity and abilities of these budding artists in the Three Village community!
