Meet the LEGOLAND® New York Kid Reporter Search Winners!

After a long month of waiting and over 450 video auditions (and they watched every single one of them!) my friends at LEGOLAND® New York have found the kids that will be joining me on a year of behind the scenes reporting on the biggest and best LEGOLAND® yet! After meeting 3 of them yesterday, I can definitely say that this is going to be one AWESOME ADVENTURE!

AND THE WINNERS ARE….DRUMROLL PLEASE…..

Matt of Mahwah, NJ, Age 6: An avid outdoorsman, Matt loves all outdoor sports including soccer and golf.

Julio of Chester, NJ, Age 9:Recently earning a junior black belt in Taekwondo, Julio enjoys camping with his fellow cub scouts, fishing with his dad, playing chess and is interested in coding and robotics.

Abigail of Mamaroneck, NY Age 11: A Fortnite fanatic, Abigail has a penchant for singing, acting and musical theater. When I found out about her I was like, OMG!! My grandparents and cousins live in Mamaroneck, and that's where my mom grew up – I go there all the time!

As a seasoned kids’ news reporter, I’m looking forward to helping my fellow junior journalists spread the news of LEGOLAND® New York. I’ve been telling my classmates about the park since I first heard it was opening, and now I get to share my excitement with kids from all over the country! I couldn’t wait to meet my fellow reporters and honestly had NO IDEA who they were going to pick. My mom and I saw lots of the auditions and we were really happy that we didn’t have to choose. We knew LEGOGLAND® would make the right choice…and after meeting three of them yesterday for an appearance on Fox 5’s Good Day New York, I can tell you that they definitely did! This is going to be one fun ride! It was awesome to finally meet some them in person! We all met right before our tv appearance and we all got along right away and started joking around and talking about how excited we were about bringing you all the cool kids’ news from LEGOLAND® New York. It was really fun to be on live tv with them, too! If you missed it, here it is:

It has already been an awesome adventure and it has only just begun! I look forward to bringing you all the behind the scenes news from the biggest and best LEGOLAND® that is coming to New York in 2020!
