UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — Hing Chung, 71, was killed after he was hit by an E-Bike on April 17 near the intersection of Amsterdam Avenue and West 78th Street, police announced on Thursday.

A subsequent police investigation found that a 39-year-old man was riding an E-Bike northbound on Amsterdam Avenue within the bike lane — when in an attempt to cross the street — Chung stepped out from between two parked cars into the bike lane, police said.
