Balloons Are Taking Over Amsterdam On The UWS This Weekend
Balloon Kings is helping a collection of UWS restaurants celebrate the return to 50 percent indoor dining. Here's how.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — A balloon decor business on the Upper West Side is doing its part Friday to turn a section of Amsterdam Avenue into a bit of a festival in honor of city restaurants returning to 50 percent indoor capacity.
Balloon Kings, at 207 West 80th Street, is looking to help restaurants from 79th to 81st Street on Amsterdam to get a little added attention over the weekend.
The UWS balloon store will cover the storefronts of Betolla, Boka, Sushi Nonaka, La Sirene Upper West Side, Amorino Upper West Side, and many others with hundreds of balloons starting on Friday afternoon.

"A lot of neighborhoods have been hit hard with store closings and indoor dining being limited over the past year," said Balloon Kings owner Gene Nifenecker. "Daylight Savings Time brings longer days and hopefully coupled with increased dining capacity, our neighbors will come out to show some support to our block this weekend.
I just wanted to do my part to bring a little balloon happiness to my friends and neighbors," Nifenecker added.
