Bank Robbery Columbus Circle
December 30th in the early evening a bank was robbed in the Columbus Circle area. Police arrived shortly afterward.
The Chevy Chase Bank in Columbus Circle was robbed this evening.
The suspect reportedly passed a note to the teller and took off with $1,000.
The suspect is still at large: I will be update.

This past year there were a number of ATM robberies, one on the East Side on East 79th, another on 3rd Avenue near 90th Street.

In October of this year, Spencer Heelan robbed six banks, including one at 655 Avenue of the Americas Friday around 2:40 p.m., authorities said. He was arrested. He also had passed notes to bank tellers.
