The just signed executive order established the Center for Conflict Resolution within the NYC Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings, which helps mediate such situations as a neighbor getting upset with a nearby bar owner.
The group readies for the shots.
De Blasio takes his mask off and takes his first sip.
As three of the four people around him drain their sake in one, the mayor pulls his mouth away.

"I'm tasting the smooth." It gets a laugh from the group. A woman at the table already done with her shot agrees with the mayor, "It's very smooth."
De Blasio goes back in for his second sip.
The sip is shorter than the first as he quickly pulls his mouth away and pensively looks at the still full shot glass. In this moment, he looks to be savoring the Japanese alcohol.
"That's good," he exclaims.

He then goes in for his third and final sip of the shot and places the glass on the table.
The captivating shot consumption took place at Moonrise Izakaya on 774 Amsterdam Avenue.
You can watch the full video below, the shot drinking starts at 16:23.
