"Why didn't you let me on?" the irate rider told the bus driver as he brandished a handgun, according to police.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — An enraged Upper West Side man pulled a gun on an MTA bus driver after missing his ride Friday morning, police said. Tony Burnett, 28, chased down the bus near Columbus Avenue and West 86th Street at about 7:50 a.m. after he was unable to get on, an NYPD spokesman said.
The irate commuter allegedly brandished a handgun as he confronted the 55-year-old driver, telling him, "Why didn't you let me on?" according to police. Other passengers were on board when the episode occurred, the NYPD spokesman said.
Burnett caught up with the bus by hailing a taxi and ordering the cabbie to cut it off, according to sources and the New York Post, which first reported on the incident.
