Free Food Pantry Coming To The Upper West Side: What To Know
Lincoln Center will host a free food pantry on Thursday as part of an ongoing commitment to serve its local community.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, in partnership with Food Bank for New York City, is once against hosting a free food bank on the Upper West Side.
The event will start Thursday at 11 a.m. on the Lincoln Center Plaza, which is located at West 62nd Street between Columbus and Amsterdam. The event will go on rain or shine.
There will be fresh produce, plant-based protein, frozen prepared meals, and shelf-stable pantry items.

The food will all be completely free.

- There will be no ID or proof of need required to get the food.
- Bring your own cart and mask.
- All people in attendance must wear masks and remain six-feet apart from one another.
The event will also have more than just food. Census enumerators will be on scene to assist with and answer questions about taking the census. Additionally, there will be a group of musicians from the New York Philharmonic, the Mostly Mozart Festival Orchestra, and MET Orchestra performers, who will all be on-site playing live tunes.
Lincoln Center is hosting the event alongside the Food Bank For New York City, the city's largest food relief organization.
