Free Shakespeare Coming To The West Side Of Central Park

NY Classical will be performing "King Lear" for free from July 1 to 11 within Central Park near West 100th Street and Central Park West.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — The summer is fully upon the Upper West Side, and that means the return of Shakespeare in various parks around the community. The New York Classical Theatre recently announced that it will be putting on upcoming free performances of "King Lear" in various New York City parks, including on the Upper West Side.

NY Classical will be performing "King Lear" within Central Park near West 100th Street and Central Park West from July 1 to 11. The performances are free, but you do need to make a reservation, which you can do here.

All performances start at 7 p.m.
