Iconic Central Park Restaurant Set To Reopen After 13 Months
Tavern on the Green, the famous Central Park restaurant, will reopen on April 29. Here are the changes it is making.

CENTRAL PARK, NY — Tavern on the Green will reopen at the end of April in Central Park, more than a year after it shuttered its doors because of the coronavirus.
The iconic restaurant that has served patrons since the 1930s will reopen on Thursday, April 29, at 50 percent indoor capacity, along with the restaurant's spacious outdoor dining setup.

“To say that we are excited to open our doors again is an understatement,” said Jim Caiola, Co-Owner of Tavern on the Green, in a news release. “Tavern is more than just a restaurant, it is a place for New Yorkers to unwind, relax in the heart of Central Park, and feel some kind of normalcy again."
