Luca The Dog Reunited With Owner After Being Swiped From UWS Shop
In a bit of good news to end 2020, police were able to find the 7-year-old Dachshund through an anonymous tip.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — Upper West Siders now have two reasons to celebrate New Year's Eve after Luca the dog was found late Wednesday night.
The 7-year-old Dachshund was swiped from the Garden of Eden Market on Broadway between 107th and 108th streets on Sunday — after one of the owners left him for a few minutes tied up outside the entrance of the grocer.
The NYPD 24th Precinct tweeted an image Wednesday night of Luca reunited with his owner Victoria de Grazia, and the officers who helped find the beloved canine.

Patch is still trying to get more information on how exactly Luca was found, but police did share that it was through an "anonymous tip."
The NYPD did not detail if the man who swiped Luca in the first place was also caught, or if he faces any repercussions for the action.
