The site uses a nasal swab for rapid tests that is "less invasive" than typical tests taken from the nose. But it also recommends that if you test positive through a rapid test, you come back and confirm the diagnosis with a PCR test.
The company also has a testing site in Herald Square.
You don't need an appointment for the new Upper West Side testing site, and you can find more information on the CV19Essential website.
