Popular UWS Outdoor Venue Ellington In The Park: Reopening Soon

The scenic outdoor restaurant and bar located within Riverside Park near West 105th Street will reopen on April 7.

UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — Ellington In The Park, one of the Upper West Side's most popular outdoor dining spots, is reopening in April.

The bar and restaurant located near West 105th Street in Riverside Park announced recently on its website that it is in the process of setting up for the summer season and will welcome customers back on April 7.

Ellington in the Park replaced the former Hudson Beach Cafe at the location. The beach-themed restaurant has two levels, with the top one overlooking the Hudson River and sandy volleyball courts below.

The venue will be open April 7 through October, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

The Riverside Park restaurant is owned by the same people who ran The Ellington at 936 Amsterdam Avenue, however, the restaurant permanently closed in July of 2020 after a long run in the neighborhood.

Owners are reportedly moving forward with a plan to open a new Ellington inside the former home of Henry's at 2745 Broadway, between 105th and 106th Streets.

The Ellington in the Park menu includes pizza, burgers, sandwiches, salads, and a wide selection of tasty cocktails.
