UWS Restaurant Named 3rd Best Pastrami Spot In New York City
A critic from Eater NY recently came out with his 10 best pastrami eateries in the city. An UWS restaurant is near the very top of the list.
UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — Pastrami is the crown jewel of New York City cuisine. There are simply not many foods more connected with the city's culture and its wide-ranging culinary options than a pastrami sandwich.
Robert Sietsema, a well-known food critic for Eater NY, recently published a list of "Where to Find New York's Fattiest, Smokiest, Best Pastrami" in New York City.
There was one Upper West Side restaurant to make the list of 10 eateries, and it is a recent arrival in the neighborhood.

"But its new flagship is on the Upper West Side, proferring pastrami that has excited denizens of that neighborhood, piled high, glowing pink, tasting strongly of its rub, and fatty enough to slide down with alacrity, despite the extreme size of the sandwich," Sietsema wrote.
