UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — New York City has countless top-notch brunch spots for mimosas, eggs benedict, bacon, fruit, and any other tasty dish you might want in between breakfast and lunch. In a prideful moment for the Upper West Side, a neighborhood eatery just got included in a list from Eater NY of the 29 best brunch spots in the city.

The local food news and ranking website recently published an article called, "29 Brunch Spots That Make Getting Out of Bed Worthwhile."

The majority of featured restaurants were in Lower Manhattan and Brooklyn, but one eatery on the Upper West Side got praised for its brunch abilities.

Here's what an editor from Eater NY had to say about the Upper West Side restaurant at 509 Amsterdam Avenue, between West 84th and 85th Streets.

"This spacious Upper West Side gastropub serves way more than just pickles. The brunch menu has several types of biscuit sandwiches, egg dishes, and salads, plus poutine and mac and cheese. To drink, Jacob's Pickles has more than two dozen beers, available in various pour sizes, or as flights."
