2 Women Found Stabbed To Death In Inwood Apartment: Police
The women were found dead Tuesday morning in an Inwood apartment on Sherman Avenue, according to police.
INWOOD, NY — Police have taken a person into custody for questioning after two women were found dead Tuesday morning stabbed to death in an Inwood apartment, according to the NYPD.
Officers arrived at the 9 Sherman Avenue apartment at 9:47 a.m. on Tuesday to find a 51-year-old woman and a 37-year-old woman unconscious and unresponsive, both with multiple stab wounds to their neck and chest, according to police.
Emergency services took both women to NYC Health & Hospitals/Harlem, where they were pronounced dead, police said.

Police have apprehended a person of interest and taken them into custody for questioning, according to the NYPD.
The identities of the two women will be released after the families are properly notified.
