Saying Thank You, Leader of Nursing Homes and Rehab Centers Provides Ice Cream Truck for NY Presbyterian Allen Heroes
Over 200 New York Presbyterian - Allen staff members on Broadway did not let the hot July temperatures in the 90s again stop them for the cooling tastes of soft chocolate and vanilla ice cream on Tuesday. The ice cream provided by the staff from Bronx-based Centers Health Care is a way to express their gratitude for saving lives during the dark months of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Even as New York State continues to lift restrictions more and more, the pandemic isn't fully over so heroes, such as these from one of New York City's leading hospitals, cannot let their guard down and the work to save lives continues.
