Country's Most-Circulated Spanish Weekly Endorses Eric Adams
El Especialito just announced its endorsement of Eric Adams for Mayor. The endorsement comes after major backing from uptown Latinx pols.

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY — The most circulated Spanish-speaking weekly newspaper in the United States recently announced its endorsement of Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams for New York City mayor.
The endorsement from the Spanish paper with over a million readers in the United States comes after Adams was able to build an impressive coalition of support from Northern Manhattan Latinx elected officials.
Leading that charge has been Council Member Ydanis Rodriguez, who was one of the earliest endorsers of Adams and has actively campaigned for the Brooklyn Borough President over recent months.

"We are out in full force. Eric Adams has people of all backgrounds here today supporting him," Rodriguez tweeted before a recent mayoral debate. "We're ready for tonight's debate! Adams will once again dominate the stage and show the city why he is the people's candidate!"
While Rep. Adriano Espaillat and Assembly Member Carmen De La Rosa initially endorsed Comptroller Scott Stringer, both uptown candidates rescinded those endorsements after Stringer was accused of sexual misconduct.
