Here's a round-up of meetings, events and other happenings taking place in the neighborhood from March 29 through April 4.
WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY — Patch has compiled a list of events residents in Washington Heights and Inwood might want to know about in the coming week.
From community board meetings to musical streams to Easter celebrations in Isham Park, here are the dates to know for the week starting on Monday, March 29.
Ongoing Events:
Dyckman Farmhouse: "Unspoken Voices: Honoring The Legacy Of Black America": The Dyckman Farmhouse at 4881 Broadway has a current exhibition with three local Upper Manhattan artists who were each inspired by the research that Dyckman Farmhouse has been doing about people previously enslaved at the property.

Morris-Jumel Mansion: COVIDA — Homage To Victims Of The Pandemic: The Morris-Jumel Mansion at 65 Jumel Terrace, near West 163rd Street, has an outdoor public art installation that pays tribute to the lives lost during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The exhibit was created by Andrea Arroyo, who lives a couple of blocks away from the installation in Washington Heights.
Local Community Board Meetings
There will be three Community Board 12 meetings on Thursday, April 1, including the Aging Committee at 10:30 a.m., the Housing and Human Services Committee at 7 p.m., and the Health and Environment Committee Meeting also at 7 p.m. You can find out more about the meeting here.
Around Upper Manhattan
Thursday, April 1 — "Celebrating the music of Billie Holiday" from Jazz WaHi at 8 p.m.
The event will be led by jazz artist Teri Roiger. "Teri is made for those who still understand the meaning of the term the real thing," said Stanley Crouch, eminent jazz scholar, author, and cultural critic

Sunday, April 4 — "Easter/Spring Party!" in Isham Park at 1 p.m.
