Gun Toting Trio Robs And Injures 2 People In Inwood: Police
Police are looking for three men who robbed and injured two people on Wednesday walking in Inwood near West 206th Street.
INWOOD, NY — Three men with guns robbed and injured two people walking in Inwood during the middle of the day on Wednesday, according to the New York Police Department. On Monday, police released pictures for the first time of men wanted in connection to the crime.
At 12:49 p.m. on Wednesday, three men approached a 32-year-old woman and a 61-year-old man, took out guns, and forcibly stole the pair's jewelry before fleeing in a car over the University Heights Bridge, according to police.
The 61-year-old man was cut on the right wrist, but refused medical attention at the scene, police said.
