WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY — Sneakerheads in Northern Manhattan rejoice. In celebration of the premiere of "In The Heights," Foot Locker, in collaboration with FILA and Warner Bros, is releasing a limited-edition sneaker inspired by the Washington Heights film.
To make it even more of an uptown party, the shoe will be available starting on Friday only at Foot Locker's Washington Heights Community Power Store at 605 West 181st Street and online at footlocker.com for $75.
The sneaker includes design elements that pay tribute to the film version of Lin-Manuel Miranda's Broadway hit, including "El Suenito" and "Paciencia Y Fe" embroidered on each shoe.
