Here Are The 10 Uptown Eateries Getting Added To Restaurant Week

UPPER MANHATTAN, NY — The story of Upper Manhattan and NYC Restaurant Week To Go continues into February as 10 additional Washington Heights and Inwood eateries are getting added to the campaign.

The news comes one week after the first set of eight Upper Manhattan restaurants signed up to participate.

Restaurant Week was initially supposed to exclusively take place during the last week of January, in which more than 570 restaurants across the five boroughs signed up to participate.

However, NYC & Company announced at the end of January that it was extending Restaurant Week To Go through Feb. 28, and reopened registration for a limited time.

Upper Manhattan restaurant owners responded, as eight eateries in Washington Heights and Inwood signed up to participate.

On Monday, 10 more Upper Manhattan eateries joined NYC Restaurant Week, four of which will not take part until Feb. 15.

Here are those restaurants.

• Banh Mi Me
• Buddha Beer Bar
• Grandpa's Brick Oven Pizza
• Pop & Pour
• Sweet Life Pastry
• Aquamarina (Feb. 15)
• Buddha Taco Bar(Feb. 15)
• Cañave (Feb. 15)
• Serrano Salsa(Feb. 15)

The 10 new eateries participating in restaurant week are joining the eight Washington Heights and Inwood restaurants that signed up last week.

Here is that initial set of Upper Manhattan restaurants.

• Tubby Hook Tavern
• Fort Washington Public House
• Broadway Slice
• II Sole
• Dyckman Express Restaurant
• Inwood Pizza
• Tryon Public House
• Sa'tacos

The participating restaurants offer select $20.21 meal options for takeout and delivery.

Data from past years show that eateries make added profit during the period due to the additional advertisement even with the discounted prices.

In the first rollout of 570 participating restaurants, over 400 of which in Manhattan, there wasn't a single eatery participating in Washington Heights or Inwood. The omission left some local restaurant owners, politicians, and residents feeling like they had been left out of the city initiative.
