For the past couple of weeks, The Armory at 651 West 168th Street has been the only vaccine site in Upper Manhattan.

The Armory will still be the only site in Upper Manhattan that is offering the vaccine to people under the age of 65.

Starting on Sunday, New York residents with underlying conditions can begin scheduling vaccine appointments.

The conditions include cancer, chronic kidney disease, pulmonary disease, such as asthma, intellectual and developmental disabilities, heart conditions, immunocompromised state, obesity, pregnancy, sickle cell disease, type 1 or 2 diabetes, neurologic conditions, and liver disease.

If you are eligible under any of these conditions, you can make a vaccine appointment at The Armory here.

The added vaccine sites in Upper Manhattan are a welcomed sight after there weren't any in the city's initial rollout. Additionally, the more locations in Washington Heights and Inwood offering the vaccine, the easier it should make it for residents to find available times.
