Local Business To Host A Neighborhood Clean-Up In Wash Heights

The Community League of the Heights is hosting "Clean Up Northern Manhattan" this weekend in Washington Heights.

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY — A Washington Heights business is looking to do its part to help keep the neighborhood clean.

The Community League of the Heights (CLOTH) is hosting "Clean Up Northern Manhattan" this Sunday at 9 a.m.

The meeting place is set for Ilka Tanya Payan Park at West 157th Street and Broadway, and you can register for a ticket to the event here.

During the neighborhood clean up, a point of emphasis will be clearing neglected tree pits in the Ilka Tanya Payan Park, and organizers of the event provided a New York City Parks link to review best tree care tips.
