Upper Manhattan got covered with a blanket of snow on Monday. Here are some pictures from around the neighborhood.

UPPER MANHATTAN, NY — It was a winter wonderland Monday across New York City and in Washington Heights and Inwood.
Snow flurried down from the sky as streets, sidewalks, parks, and cars were blanketed with almost a foot of snow and a peaceful stillness.
The neighborhood makes a good backdrop for a wintery photo shoot, and here are some of the best photos and videos from around Upper Manhattan.
