NYPD Searches For Boyfriend Of Woman Found Dead In The Heights

Police are looking for the long-term boyfriend of a Washington Heights woman found dead in her tub, according to multiple reports.

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY — Police are still looking for answers after 50-year-old Ramona Rodriguez-Reynoso was found dead in the bathtub of her Washington Heights apartment near West 167th Street.

Specifically, the NYPD is searching for her long-time boyfriend German Reynoso, according to multiple sources, including CBS and the Daily Mail.

Rodriguez-Reynoso was found dead in her bathtub with a gunshot wound and stab wounds to her head, according to police.

A neighbor told CBS he was shocked to learn what happened after hearing a dispute in the building earlier on Friday.

“I hear something like a noise. I was thinking it was a party, somebody crying … screaming, something, screaming like that,” the neighbor told CBS. “Talking loud. Her and with somebody … somebody crying.”

Wanted posters for German have been hung in the neighborhood around Rodriguez-Reynoso's Washington Heights apartment.

The NYPD poster says he is wanted in connection to her death and considered armed and dangerous.
