Popular Outdoor Inwood Restaurant Shutters For The Season
The Hudson posted in multiple Inwood community Facebook groups Monday to inform residents it was closing down for the winter.

INWOOD, NY — There have been few more popular outdoor dining restaurants in Inwood over the past six months than The Hudson.
The riverside restaurant is located at 348 Dyckman Street, which it took over from Inwood's former party spot La Marina in September 2019.
The Hudson offers an assortment of sandwiches, seafood, BBQ, and desserts, while also allowing diners to enjoy a picturesque area where Inwood Hill Park meets Fort Tryon Park along the Hudson River.

On Monday, restauranteur Jim Goldman, who owns The Hudson alongside Jon Becker, posted the same message to multiple Upper Manhattan Facebook groups that the joint would be temporarily closing for the winter months.
"Wish to thank all of you for your patronage this summer at The Hudson," Goldman wrote on Facebook. "With NYC at a 25 percent indoor dining restriction and the weather turning cold, we have decided to close The Hudson for the season for regular service."

The restaurant alongside the Hudson River will remain available for private events.
Members of the Inwood community were quick to show their appreciation for the restaurant in the past year.
"Thank you! This was a true highlight of our pandemic summer," a Facebook user wrote. "You all did an incredible job at providing a safe environment to have a little sense of normalcy all while eating AMAZING food."
"Thank YOU so much for being a true highlight of Inwood," a different Facebook user wrote. "We can't wait to see you next season."
The Hudson has not given an exact date on when it expects to reopen.
You can find out more about the restaurant on its website.
