The popular Upper Manhattan restaurant is located at 4740 Broadway, just north of Thayer Street.
The Feast of San Gennaro was first celebrated in the United States in 1926 by Italian immigrants from Naples who gathered in the Little Italy section of New York City. The celebration is held in honor of Saint Gennaro, who was a Bishop of Benevento, Italy, and died a martyr in 305 AD, according to SanGennaronyc.org.
