Two Killed In Overnight NYC Subway Stabbings: Reports

Among the victims was a 44-year-old woman found at the West 207 Street and Broadway station in Inwood.

INWOOD, NY — Police are investigating a pair of deadly stabbings that happened on separate A trains in the overnight hours of Saturday.

According to an NYPD release, at approximately 1:20 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to a 911 call of an unconscious female found onboard a northbound train stopped at the West 207 Street and Broadway station.

When officers arrived, they located the 44-year-woman laying under a bench, unconscious and with several stab wounds to her body, according to police.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

A few hours earlier, police also found a man with stab wounds on a train stopped at the Mott Avenue and Beach 22nd Street station in Far Rockaway, CBS2 reported. He was also pronounced dead at the scene.

According to the CBS2 report, two more victims were also found at A-line subway stations. Both survived their injuries, the station reported.

Police are investigating a possible connection between the stabbings, CBS2 reported, including whether the four victims were targeted by the same suspect.
