Wash Heights COVID-19 Self-Testing Event To Be Held Tuesday
A COVID-19 self-testing pop-up site will be open at a local bookshop Tuesday afternoon in Washington Heights for ages 4 and older.
WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY – A COVID-19 self-testing pop-up site will be open at a local bookshop Tuesday afternoon in Washington Heights for ages 4 and older.
The testing event will be held from 12 p.m. - 4 p.m. at Word Up Bookshop, 2113 Amsterdam Ave at West 165th Street.
Staff will supply a self-swab kit, collect samples and send them off to the lab. Results will be emailed 48 hours later.

The self-swab testing is available for people ages 18 and older who have an email address. Children ages 4-17 may be tested if they have a parent or guardian present.
The event is sponsored by Gale Brewer, Manhattan borough president.
