Washington Heights Org To Host Virtual Broadway Concert

Community League of the Heights is set to bring three Broadway performers together for a virtual show on Tuesday.

WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, NY — Broadway shows are still on hold until at least 2021, but the Community League of the Heights (CLOTH) is giving you another way to watch talented theater professionals.

On Tuesday, CLOTH is presenting "Broadway on Broadway!" a virtual concert with three musical theater stars.

The virtual concert will be hosted by Kathryn Allison, who currently appears in the Broadway show "Company" and previously worked in "Wicked" and "Aladdin."

Ashley Alexandra Sheldon and Nath Lucrezio will join Allison. Seldon is a New York City-based singer/actress who lives in Washington Heights and has performed musical theater across the country and globe.

Lucrezio was also part of "Aladdin" for more than four years, and is currently part of the brand new musical "DIANA."

Everyone who attends the virtual concert will get entered to win a gift card from one of three Washington Height's businesses: Manolo Tapas near West 177th Street, Malecon near West 175th Street, and La Rosa Fine Food near West 176th Street.

CLOTH is a "community development corporation dedicated to building equitable, prosperous, and healthy northern Manhattan neighborhoods," according to its Facebook page.

CLOTH has served the Washington Heights community since 1952.
