2 Men Wanted For Scissors Attack In Greenwich Village: Police

Two men recently attacked a 53-year-old with a knife and pair of scissors in Greenwich Village, according to police.

GREENWICH VILLAGE, NY — Police are looking for two men who attacked a 53-year-old man in Greenwich Village with a knife and a pair of scissors last week.

NYPD released a photo Sunday afternoon of two men wanted in connection to the attack.

The scary incident took place Thursday night when the men approached the 53-year-old man in front of 395 Avenue of the Americas. The two attackers took out a knife and a pair of scissors and slashed the victim multiple times in his face, back, and legs, according to police.

NYPD did not provide a motive for the attack.

The 53-year-old was transported to a local hospital in stable condition, police said.

There are no arrests in the attack and the investigation remains ongoing.
