3 West Vill Pharmacies Now Offering COVID Vaccine To New Groups
Cuomo announced on Sunday multiple new groups of New Yorkers eligible to get COVID-19 vaccine shots at pharmacies.

WEST VILLAGE, NY — Pharmacies in the West Village and surrounding area are among the hundreds across New York City that are now administering COVID-19 vaccines to people over 60, teachers, school staff, childcare workers, and those with comorbidities or underlying health conditions.
Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced Sunday the new eligible groups of New Yorkers who can now get vaccinated at local pharmacies. Previously, it was only New Yorkers over the age of 60 who could get COVID-19 vaccine shots at pharmacies.
"New Yorkers with comorbidities are among our state's most at-risk residents, and access to the COVID-19 vaccine protects this vulnerable population as we work to defeat the virus and establish the new normal," Cuomo said in a news release. "As New York receives more doses and more people receive the vaccine, we're able to expand the population pharmacies can serve, and this is a commonsense step forward that will help make it easier to protect New Yorkers."
