Anti-Trump Group Organizing Meeting in Greenwich Village Tonight
The group Refuse Fascism is planning a New Year's Eve protest in NYC.

GREENWICH VILLAGE, NY — An organizing meeting for the group Refuse Fascism will take place Tuesday night from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center, located at 208 W. 13 St.
Refuse Fascism's goal is to "build an independent, working-class mass movement that vows to use every ounce of our collective body and spirit to stand against Trump's reactionary agenda from Day 1."
Initiators of the group include Yusef Salaam, one of the Central Park Five; activist and writer Cornell West; and former Weatherman Bill Ayers.

The group plans to stage a protest on New Year's Eve, when it will march from Columbus Circle to Trump Tower at Fifth Avenue and 57 Street.
"The news will be covering the ball at Times Square," the group writes, "but will be forced to cover our mass gathering just 15 blocks north."
