This Is The Best Sandwich In NYC

WEST VILLAGE, NY — A West Village Italian deli apparently has the best sandwich in New York State, according to People magazine's latest list of the best sandwich in each state.

People and The Infatuation teamed up to name the top sandwich in each state, and West Village's Faicco's has been named the best in New York, according to the list.

Faicco's, located at 260 Bleecker St. at Cornelia Street, is best known for its grab-and-go heroes, according to People Magazine. One sandwich, the Italian, comes with prosciutto, ham, hot capicola, soppressata, mozzarella, lettuce, tomatoes and roasted peppers.

"We have no idea why this Italian deli flies under the radar, but your days of not knowing about Faicco's end right now," Katherine Lewin, an editor for The Infatuation, said, according to People magazine.
