'Call Me By Your Name' Author To Speak In The West Village
The author of "Call Me By Your Name," which was recently adapted into a movie, will sign books and speak to readers in the West Village.

WEST VILLAGE, NY — The author of the acclaimed book "Call Me By Your Name" will be giving a book talk and signing copies of his novel in the West Village on Friday.
André Aciman will participate in a question and answer session as well as a book signing at the Tony Dapolito Recreation Center, located at 3 Clarkson St. Aciman's novel was recently adapted into a movie of the same name, which lost out on a Best Picture nomination as the Oscars on Sunday.
"Call Me By Your Name," published in 2007, was praised as an "exceptionally beautiful book" by the New York Times, and similarly lauded by other publications. The movie adaptation, starring Timothée Chalamet and Armie Hammer, was a critical and commercial success when it was released last year.
