Is CBD business the next biggest thing?

Local store "Hemped NYC" has become a millennial favorite

(Hemped NYC)

A quaint store-front on the infamous Bleecker Street, but not your typical leather shop or pizza joint. Hemped NYC has become a millennial favorite and intriguing to random eyes. With a variety of hemp derived CBD edibles, oils and tinctures, topicals, cosmetics, pet treats and many more 'pharmaceutical ' proven products.

Although CBD is originally sourced from cannabis, the production of this oil is derived from industrial hemp plants and is fully legal to buy in all 50 states of the USA. There is still speculation about this fact and the differentiation about THC and CBD. After passage of the Farm Bill in December 2018, which made hemp - a type of cannabis sativa plant with a THC concentration of .3 percent or less — legal in the United States - often referred to as “CBD”.

Hemped offers three different Cannabidiols- according to local reviews online, the associates are specialized in the product and very informative on the oils effects. The store proposes their products as a part of having a “healthy lifestyle in New York City” almost like a local beauty brand, where they promote organic lotions or a specific skin serum. The Hemped brand also suggests that CBD is a much healthier alternative to prescribed drugs that are used to relieve stress and pain. For example, they state on their website, “a consistent use of cannabidiol can fight fatigue, muscle pain, and overall recuperation” which to be fair, if effective, would be a less harmful solution compared to opioids.

The brand guarantees that the Hemp contained in Cannabidiol fully blocks the effectiveness of the Tetrahydrocannabinol chemical. This does not despite Many speculations are still drawn to Cannabidiol business and growth as it can misleadingly tie to marijuana, but for now, this local store is well and running. It seems to be the word of mouth for young, working adults in New York. Curious to see where the brand and CBD marketing goes from here.
