Chinese Pop-Up Eatery Gets Permanent Home In Greenwich Village
The popular Chinese pop-up restaurant Nice Day is moving into a Greenwich Village location on a full-time basis.

GREENWICH VILLAGE, NY — After more than two successful months of business in Greenwich Village, a pop-up Chinese restaurant is getting a permanent home in the neighborhood.
The popular restaurant chain Junzi Kitchen opened the Nice Day pop-up Chinese eatery in August with a focus on classic American-Chinese flavors.
Nice Day is now set to permanently take over the Junzi Kitchen establishment at 170 Bleecker Street, according to Eater New York.

"Nice Day was founded by friends with deep personal and professional connections to Chinese food," an Our Story section reads on the restaurant's website. "We saw an opportunity to make sure that American Chinese food, a wonderfully inventive and flavorful regional Chinese cuisine, would endure so all of us could keep saying, 'let's order Chinese.'"
The pop-up joint now turned permanent Greenwich Village fixture is part of Junzi's goal to modernize traditional Chinese takeout restaurants and save New York City's hurting Chinese delivery scene.
