F-Train Rider Attacked by Two Fellow Passengers After Dispute: NYPD

The police are looking for two suspects who attacked a man at the West 4th Street stop during the Monday evening commute.

WEST VILLAGE, NY — An F-train rider was attacked by two young men Monday afternoon after getting into a verbal dispute, police said.

A 45-year-old man was traveling on a southbound F train at 5:38 p.m. when he was assaulted by two men as the train pulled into the West 4th Street station, the NYPD said. One suspect punched the victim in the face with a closed fist while the other suspect hit the man over the head with a solid object, police said.

Both young men fled the train at the West 4th Street station, according to police.
