Greenwich Village Woman Killed In Car Collision, Police Say
An 84-year-old woman was crossing Sixth Avenue near West 13th Street when she was hit and fatally injured by a car, according to the NYPD.

GREENWICH VILLAGE, NY — An 84-year-old woman was killed in a car collision in Greenwich Village on Monday, police said.
The woman, Patricia Clare O'Grady, was critically injured in the accident on Monday and died from her injuries on Thursday, according to the NYPD.
O'Grady was leaving her apartment building near the intersection of Sixth Avenue and West 13th Street on Monday at about 10:30 a.m., authorities said. A car traveling north on Sixth Avenue hit O'Grady while she was trying to cross the street in the crosswalk, according to the NYPD. The car knocked O'Grady to the ground and left her with fatal injuries.

The 36-year-old driver of the car remained at the scene after the collision. He has not been arrested and police are still investigating the crash, authorities said.
