The Greenwich Village's Bar Dante Heads To Dubai: Report
The Lower Manhattan bar ranked best in the world in 2019 is opening a temporary pop-up location in Dubai, according to Fact Magazine.

GREENWICH VILLAGE, NY — Dante NYC in Lower Manhattan has gained worldwide recognition over the past five years for its level of product and service.
With a location in both Greenwich Village and the West Village, the original Greenwich Village location was named the best bar in the world in 2019 and the second-best in 2020, according to the coveted annual World's Best 50 Bars Awards.
The bar is now taking its operation worldwide.

Dante NYC is opening a pop-up location in Dubai, according to the culture publication Fact Magazine.
The bar will open the ME Dubai hotel, which is the only hotel in the Middle East to get designed by Dame Zaha Hadid, according to the magazine.

Fact Magazine reports that the pop-up location is expected to open in Dubai from Jan. 15 to Feb. 13.
Dante opened under the name Cafe Dante in 1915 as an Italian bar and cafe. It eventually changed ownership in 2015, and the watering hole has won several awards in the years since.
The bar is located at 79-81 MacDougal Street and has a 551 Hudson Street location in the West Village.
