NYC got more snow Wednesday night than it did all of 2019. Here's how much of it fell in Greenwich Village.
GREENWICH VILLAGE, NY — The first major winter storm of the year in New York City dumped more snow on the five boroughs Wednesday night than all last winter, according to the National Weather Service.
As for Greenwich Village, the southeast portion of the Lower Manhattan neighborhood recorded 9 inches of snow as of Thursday morning, according to the National Weather Service.
It's more snow than most Manhattan neighborhoods got, but less than places like Central Park and portions of Washington Heights.
