Man Beats Up And Robs Man In W Village Apartment, Cops Say
The robber punched the man in the face several times and took his cell phone and laptop, police said.

WEST VILLAGE, NY — Cops are searching for two men involved in a robbery in the West Village, police said.
A 38-year-old man let another man into an apartment near Sixth Avenue and West 12th Street about 1:30 a.m. July 25, police said.
The two got into an argument and the robber punched the man in the face several times, police said.

Police said the robber took a cell phone and laptop and ran off with another man, who was the driver, and was waiting in the building's lobby.
Emergency medical personnel responded but the 38-year-old declined medical attention, police said.

Police said it was not known how the two men knew each other.
