WEST VILLAGE, NY — A West Village bistro specializing in natural wines recently opened in the neighborhood.

L'Accolade will serve French dishes with a seasonal menu and local ingredients, according to the restaurant.

Led by chefs Ben Traver and Nate Kuester, small plates are about $14-$16 and mains $22-28. Some mains include Arctic char with heirloom tomatoes, currants, and kohlrabi and chicken with summer bean fricassee, grilled corn, and oregano. Traver and Kuester, both Korean-American, will also bring some Korean flavors to their dishes.

Clément Lapeyssonnie curated the wine list, with natural wines from small wineries that produce wine without additives. Most wines are unfiltered and made with little to no sulfur dioxide and have a focus on sustainable farming practices.

The bistro opened in mid-June for a soft-opening at 302 Bleecker St. between Barrow and Grove streets.
