NYU Library Evacuated During Power Outage
NYU's Bobst Library was evacuated on Tuesday amid a power outage, the school said.

GREENWICH VILLAGE, NY — NYU evacuated Bobst Library on Tuesday amid a significant power outage, the school said.
The library, located at 70 Washington Square S, was evacuated Tuesday afternoon. Tisch Hall, at 40 West Fourth Street, was also impacted by the power outage, according to the school.

Representatives for the school did not immediately respond to questions from Patch.

One student shared a video on Twitter as he was being evacuated that apparently showed sewage leaking from the ceiling of a room in the library's basement.
